The Essence of the Wise Woman Weekend

A space for women to come together to reconnect with themselves, nature, and their inner wise woman and. A safe and nurturing time to receive a deep sense of support, appreciation, and understanding within themselves and with each other.

My intention for our Wise Women Weekend gathering at Windhorse Farm was to create a very safe and nurturing space of belonging and community. A space for women to come together to reconnect with themselves, find a deep sense of support, appreciation, understanding within themselves and with each other.

And the canvas of Windhorse farm and Mother Nature, the great Earth Mother, being the foundation for all of that.

My intention was to create a space in which these women could . . .

. . . slow down to connect to the elements, as the elements are a part of our very being and our essence

. . . be able to listen deeply and to be heard

. . . have experiences that awaken our creativity

. . . have experiences of tapping into our fire and our reclamation of parts of ourselves that we have neglected or not allowed to be present.

In belief breakthroughs or the breakthrough experience it is really important to involve the whole body, not just the mind.

To do all of this, also, through ceremony and ritual, returning to these very ancient and original experiences that are in our DNA, that are in our essence as women who would have gathered for thousands of years together to share, to support, to encourage, and embolden each other.

And so, I wanted to create an experience that had a balance of softness and tenderness and holding and love with the element of fire and reclaiming, stoking the inner essence of our being, where we need to step up for ourselves, where we need to make changes and to do that both with great strength as well as grace.

We need time to connect to those parts of ourselves, and nature embodies all of that. So helping women connect to nature and those aspects in themselves is really key.

When we explore the edges of our becoming, we allow what we've pushed away and pushed down to resurface and be explored and examined - to see if it is something that we feel is still part of who we are and decide if we want it to be nurtured. We can step over the edge into territory that we've felt we weren't good enough for or not allowed to explore or, you know, that was saved for for somebody else.

It can be so challenging to step into what we want.

Holding space for Goddess energy

My intention for the retreat had several layers, but in essence it was for these women to:

have the time and space to connect with themselves, with nature, and with a group of women who could also relate, and share sisterhood;

come back to some more simple but very powerful pleasures of song, movement, creativity . . .

. . . and power! the Goddess power, the power of the Priestess, the power of being alive and harnessing that and, and awakening the parts that have been dormant in us.

Awaken the goddess energy that's been dormant, or that we don't even know as part of us.

Because we've lost sight of it.

And we have belief systems around how and when and where that's allowed to be present in our lives.

I wanted it to be a transformative weekend for these women.

And it was so very beautiful and potent and tender at the same time.

Words from Wise Women

Thank you Amanda for sharing your teachings, for holding space for us, and guiding us as we move through our journey! For taking us to the edge and for the realization of our potential and the possibilities that are ours if we dare to reach for them. With love and gratitude. It was an honour to share this journey with all the women who ventured and dared to be part of this empowering weekend.”
— Tracey
You knew how to take us to our edge and how to catch us when we leaped. I moved through the weekend incredibly fearless and incredibly vulnerable at the same time. I am so grateful and privileged to have been included in your Wise Woman weekend. Thank you, Amanda Ring for sharing your teachings, for leading by example and for the amazing heart-work you do. ❤️

Reconnect to your Divine Feminine

And that is a big part of how I work with my clients as well as how I work whenever I lead retreat or workshop.

My intention is to bring the essence of the Divine Feminine, the Divine Mother energy of softness and tenderness and nurturing, acceptance and belonging as well as the fiery passionate aspects of life and the Goddess.

My aim is to support your journey as you step out of your comfort zone in order to reignite dormant parts of you, and sit with the oil that comes up whilst knowing that you are accepted and loved, and reclaim yourself with boldness, compassion and strength.

My passion is to support women to reconnect, re-awaken, remember, reclaim and renew their connection to all that is love, to mother Gaia, to their divine feminine, to their desires and dreams, and to live life beyond the edge - soaring through their lives, and landing when they need rest and reflection.

To these strong, brave women and all in my Wise Women Awakening Online Course, thank you for inspiring other women to do the same!
